Anyone else seen this, true story, hard not to like Belle despite everything she was a product of her environment

haven't seen it, she's a very good actress though, she was brilliant in Unbelievable

well worth a watch, tbh because of the title I probably wouldn't have bothered watching it but someone recommended it to me

Someone at work was telling me about this today. It’s on my list.

…I tried to watch this when it was first streaming and just couldn’t engage with it…I did vaguely have some awareness of the story but not in any depth…I will give it another go in watching though as sometimes were just not in the right vibe and I’m sure that’s all it was…

Yeah that happened to me with the Sopranos, could not get on board with it on second viewing I was hooked completely :laugh:

…a big one for me was Breaking Bad, it took me two tries to really engross in that and then it became one of my all time favourite series…:laugh:…

Oh I was just talking to my mom about Schitts Creek today and she tried to watch it before and stopped after a couple of episodes, I need to force her to watch more so she gets it

…yeah that was the same for me as well, I’m not really drawn so much to sitcom series and I could see that it was quite slick in its writing/comedy but couldn’t at first see how it was going to maintain interest in terms of story development…?..but somehow it did, I was obviously just not in the Schitt vibe on the first try of it…

I also didn't like the characters much at the start :laugh:

Watched the first 2 episodes last night, it's good and I feel like it's not even started to hot up yet
