Why not just give Putin every country bordering Russia that is not in NATO and which might have some minerals that he would like to own? I mean, it's not like Russia crossed a border to illegally invade a sovereign country. It's not like he murders people who are against him... is it?

Now, without Putin saying a word, the world seems to have turned against Ukraine on the coat-tails the orange man. Trump is dangerous for the world.

How do people feel about Vance's dismissal of British soldiers

I think Vance's comments made him look like the idiot he is. They're quick to site the help the USA gave in WW2 but slow to acknowledge they won in the Far East because of a coalition of forces from all over the Commonwealth. You'd think they'd done it alone because they are the loudest.

The USA has hardly covered itself in glory when it comes to wars since WW2. Look at Vietnam. Look at Afghanistan. Remember Grenada? More medals were issued than troops landed. One day of troops landing unimpeded on Grenada followed by two weeks of surfing is not a military success. My OH is mortified to think that Vance and Trump are disgracing his nation on the world stage.

Thankfully, british intelligence is very, very good and europe has it's own satellite system. From what i heard, i don't believe the USA is actively collecting intelligence any more, so what america provides from here on in is likely unreliable anyway.
