But said nothing about her lack of correct papers.

into a nightmare after ICE agents
detained her at the Canadian border.

Becky Burke, 28, was handcuffed
and taken to a detention cell in
Tacoma, Washington, on February 26
and is still in custody,
according to her distraught family.

The traveler's father, Paul Burke, said agents
classified Becky as an 'illegal alien' because
she attempted to cross the border into
Canada with an 'incorrect visa'. ]

Tbf, these agencies don't know her character so of course they have to take precautions.

Hopefully she'll be let go soon.

It’s really not hard to check the visa requirements and get correct visas. Silly girl.

…so she should have had a working visa but had a tourist visa…?…I feel for her with her experience but yeah, it’s important to have the correct paperwork always…it was fortunate that it was USA because she could have been detained for so much longer in some countries…correct paperwork and visa is such an important thing…
