European Union warns EU citizens to stockpile in case of crisis
This is getting too real guys.
https://news.sky.com/story/amp/eu-ci...risis-13336540 Can someone not neutralize that ho Putin!! |
Yes,
Putin needs to be taken out |
i really doubt every russian even wants this conflict to go on for much longer either
well over 400.000 russians having died already, their nation has been heavily sanctioned this ''strategic operation'' by Putin has been one big disaster for them that said, European Union do need to quit with their fearmongering, i mean if Russia can't even defeat Ukraine that easily, i reckon they are quite chanceless against all of europe and NATO best thing what Putin can do is accept his losses, and move on, and try and save what is left of Russia, with a full membership of Asia (pretty sure he already has the support of China, North Korea, India for that) |

…sadly many people wouldn’t be able to stock pile even for a few days, their living from day to day budget is so tight…things like this just create more gloom and bleak in mental health…I’m a cynic anyway in that these warning leaflets etc will give a boost to the country spending and maybe more given out for that purpose…

encouraging panic buying just leads to shortages that ultimately affects the poorest the most

Didn't Oliver Dowden or someone like that issue a similar warning in the UK last year....just ignore it, although I do have a 12 pack of toilet roll just in case

To be fair it's not just "impending war" - there have in recent years been increasing numbers of freak weather events ("The Beast from the East snowfall, various storms etc.) that have left people without power and shops unstocked for 2-3 days... it IS sensible to have a small stockpile of longlife essentials, and things like charged-up powerbanks/solar powerbanks for charging phones in an emergency (we have a couple of little solar USB-C chargers).
Even in that fairly recent little storm last month-ish (the fence destroyer we called it - for some reason everyone was specifically losing their fences  ) we were stuck without power for nearly 48 hours. Still being able to charge phones/tablets etc. was a lifesaver. In my day you couldn't do anything during a powercut, these days you can still watch Netflix :joker:. |
Its one of the reasons I love having a stove, if the lights go out we can still be warm and cook on it :flutter:

I'm still stockpiling for the zombi apocalypse. Every time I go to Thetford I think it's started. Sorry Thetford....

So more scaremongering from our leaders?
