The Sun reports that this series was meant to look very different, with plans to stage an All Stars series with past housemates to celebrate 25 years of Big Brother. The Sun reports that Tiffany Pollard, who was eyed to return to the house, will instead be a guest on Late & Live.

A source told The Sun: "Bosses had planned to mark Big Brother’s huge milestone by bringing back former celebrity housemates for the new series... However, it became a logistical nightmare and proved too expensive so it was decided to scrap the idea altogether. Producers still have plenty of surprises in store for the new series and casting is complete with all of the famous faces now signed up."
