If Arsenal win the Champions League.

And finish 2nd in the league, and Liverpool win the league.

Who's had the better season?

Swan 01-04-2025 09:52 PM

Arsenal. Granted they've not won the PL in forever, but a first CL title would be huge for them. Liverpool winning the league is just massively underwhelming because of the ease in which they've won it. But still big for them to get their first PL title without a * by it

bots 02-04-2025 08:26 AM

i don't think arsenal have what it takes to win the CL, you can quote me later. Arsenal have been mediocre this season

They've had some difficult injuries to contend with, and some ill-timed suspensions. Looked a different team last night when Saka came on to team up with Martinelli and Trossard.

Liverpool

Mystic Mock 04-04-2025 09:34 AM

It would be close tbf.

But speaking for myself I think that there would be no greater feeling than being told that you were the best team in Europe.

If that was my team achieving that I honestly think that I would be stunned into silence lol.

Obviously Liverpool. The championship is the main trophy.

Crimson Dynamo 09-04-2025 09:14 AM

wow

bots 09-04-2025 09:17 AM

their chances of winning the CL must have shot up after last nights brilliant display

Beso 09-04-2025 10:40 AM

Superb by rice

Swan 09-04-2025 10:42 AM

Yeah, i don't like Arsenal, but watching those free kicks go in last night gave me chills

MTVN 09-04-2025 01:26 PM

He's not even supposed to be a great free kick taker. As good as he was at West Ham we were clearly massively sleeping on his set piece ability

Also I really dislike Arsenal but a Champions League win is easily bigger than the Premier League

bots 09-04-2025 01:56 PM

it was basically the same shot repeated, so it was RM's bad defence that let the 2nd one in

Arsenal winning the CL and 2nd in league is more impressive than winning the PL in a mediocre season

Liverpool haven’t really excelled themselves and should win by a landslide ( I seem to recall predicting them to win back in July - due to their 5 strikers )

( they do have a fairly challenging run in though)

Nicky91 10-04-2025 06:49 AM

Courtois made some decent saves, certainly not his fault Real lost with big numbers

Real lacks someone of the caliber Sergio Ramos, or a Cannavaro, someone who can lead and keep everything solid in the defensive positions

Camavinga's second yellow, well he was already suspended for the return anyway so i doubt he cared about getting that red card in extra time :joker:

Shaun 10-04-2025 12:23 PM

the return leg will be a nail-biter but at least we had that night

just hope it isn't PSG that win the whole thing. Some great talent sure, but sick of oil-rich clubs with no real history dominating

Well Villa will need the biggest performance in their club's history to overcome that 3-1 deficit against PSG next week. I don't see it happening, realistically PSG only need 1 goal to guarantee their place in the last 4

Villa will fly out of the blocks and kick the living sh1te out of PSG ..

It’s just a matter of how strong PSG are and how weak the referee is on the night

Beso 16-04-2025 05:32 PM

Real Madrid have closed the stadium roof in an attempt to intensify the crowd noise

Zizu 16-04-2025 06:38 PM

It is 121 games since Arsenal lost by 3 clear goals

What happened to VAR !!!!

Zizu 16-04-2025 07:17 PM

Zizu 16-04-2025 07:20 PM

If Arsenal win the Champions League.

Defender drops Merinow with an elbow to the neck right in front of the referee

Just plays on

How do they get away with kind of thing time after time. . Year after year
