Ahh I'm really sad to hear this. Bless.

He has a place in my heart from Top Gun days.

….ahhhhhh, he’s had ill health for much of the last years, hasn’t he…a great and very watchable actor…Val Kilmer……

joeysteele 02-04-2025 06:16 AM

I like his films lot.

R.I.P.

He has... He looked much older than he was, I remember thinking he hadn't aged well. Sad to hear though, he made some great films.

Beso 02-04-2025 09:59 AM

I've never seen top gun, but enjoyed him in Top Secret and The Doors, I thought he was great as Jim Morrison.

Gone to soon.

…I think one of his most praised movies/roles was Tombstone/Doc Holliday and I do recall that he was excellent in that…it’s a long while since I watched it though, so I might give it a re-watch soon…

Omg! RIP Val :(

I loved him in Batman Forever.

Ray. 02-04-2025 03:08 PM

R.I.P.

It's funny, despite him being such a huge name and so present in my mind as a movie star, the only two movies I really took notice of him in were Batman Forever and Heat. He was a decent Batman, too. Certainly better than George Clooney and Ben Affleck imo.

I should get around to watching that Doors movie he and Oliver Stone made.

It's even more egregious because I quite like the Doors and Stone's JFK is one of my favourite movies. For shame!

Oh, I will now. And also The Island of Doctor Moreau and the documentary they made about how much of a nightmare him and Brando were during the making of that.

I always thought he was a great actor

bots 02-04-2025 03:46 PM

He had Jim Morrison down to a tee. I was a massive doors fan back in the day

I was a big fan as a teen in the 90's too

…another excellent Val Kilmer movie is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with Robert Downey Junior and Michelle Monaghan …it’s generally an overall superb watch…

Ammi 02-04-2025 03:53 PM

…he’s one of those actors who comparatively didn’t star in so many movies as many others but he made a huge screen impact in the ones he was in so its always felt to me that he’s been on the screen more than he has…

I haven't seen it but I'm going to see if I can find it somewhere

Vanessa 02-04-2025 04:13 PM

Aw that's sad. He was a brilliant actor.
