Cornish Pasty wars Clashing over prices
[Pasty wars! Shop owner in Cornwall seaside
town clashes with furious locals over £10 pasties... and says she wants to charge even More (despite rivals being much cheaper)] https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2025/04...3674561421.jpg I would buy that £6:50 because it is Fresh. Eat it outside. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/html_mod...ys02-large.jpg The Most Expensive :Prices on this link https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-bakeries.html |

Greggs can not do that |
Wtf I wouldn't pay that much for a pastie.

rip off
|
I'd want chips and beans or peas or gravy with it for that price.
|
If people want to buy it then I don't see the issue, it's like Artisan bread at 9.00 a loaf, it sells, she is probably up at the crack of dawn baking the things so good on her for not selling them on the cheap

Saw that TikTok chocolate from Dubai on sale in a garage for 12 pounds

Ginsters are nasty
I'm happy paying for a proper homemade pasty, £6.50 is definitely at the pricey end but that's Cornwall for you |
i've had a pasty in cornwall, i'm sure it didnt cost anything like £10 and it was delicious
|
You can buy Cornish pasties by post. A box from Cornwall of 10 costs £33

£6.50 seems steep, £5 maybe. The £3.50 mark-up to sit in is a bit much too...
