Mickey's lovely moment with Trisha

He opened up to her that he was vulnerable and then Trisha told him about her
cancer and he was charming and sincere in his reaction "Iv got your name and I
will keep you in my prayers!" without being fake. "And you got someone who
looks after you?" she said my husband and Mickey seemed "ok that is good"

Really touching scene and you can tell that Mickey has a good heart

…it was very sweet and touching…..when he asked, do you have someone to care for you/or similar words…?…it made me think, does he feel that through his health issues, that he’s had no one to care for him…?…I know that he’s quite ‘secluded’ in his lifestyle, I’m reading…

I knew there was some good in him. He's nothing like the tough guy persona we think of him.
He may not be perfect, but I believe he's a decent guy.

Yes he has lived on his own for the past 6 years. He does have friends, but he likes living on his own.

…but just wanted to assure himself that Trisha didn’t…live on her own and has constant support around her..…very thoughtful…

Also not picking the immunity for himself and instead wanting to help someone else stay longer. Loved that.

Cherie 09-04-2025 12:06 PM

I thought I was going to hate him after his entrance, but he seems like a nice genuine guy, I think he wants out of there asap though which is why he didn't take immunity for himself, and not that I have seen it but brushing in teeth in the kitchen sink might be to get himself nominated

Yes he probably has some habits that are going to get him nominated

…I don’t think it was that is my own personal thought…I think that he’s just very ‘switched off’ from being around others in any type of living together situation or considering their thoughts on things like his teeth brushing…I think he’s probably very thoughtful in other ways but just not with that and didn’t see why it would be a problem…when he said that he ‘would take it as it comes…’ with his own eviction…?…I think that he genuinely meant that and wouldn’t influence it in any way either positively or negatively, but just let it run and be himself and let the public decide…

Yes he said he'll take his chances.

I suppooose that is a good point - I find the kitchen toothbrushing gross but, to be fair, that's mainly because other people have to use that kitchen sink. I probably would be less bothered if it was just one person in their own space. So after living alone for a long time maybe he's just missing some "social graces" in that sense.

Yes I agree. He's just socially awkward.

bots 09-04-2025 12:25 PM

he won't be faking anything for anyone. A bit like Gary Busy, they are what they are and if you don't like it, tough

user104658 09-04-2025 12:26 PM

Re: the "guardian angel" choice though I have to say I think 90% of people would have chosen that with the choice of the three, historically very few people really want immunity, or at least, to be seen to be CHOOSING immunity... on the first day, I can't see anyone doing it. In a civilian season maybe but not celebs.

Loved Gary, he was himself 100%. Mickey in a similar way he's completely real. The good and the bad

Isn't that refreshing? It's a treat to know where you stand.

…I mean, if at home he cleans his teeth in the kitchen, it really doesn’t matter as it’s all only his own saliva and germs etc…so I think that he just has that ‘isolated’ mindset…I do think that it’s good that JoJo addressed it though because one of the things with the BB house situation is to learn to live with others in consideration …

Gary Busey holds the obscure honour of being the only thing I've ever placed money on at odds-on. 8/11, put what was at the time a good chunk on, it was basically free money he was never going to lose that season.

Indeed, extremely thoughtful and considerate..

I like to think that I am thoughtful and caring but I would have asked if she had everything she needed and said she could call me anytime for help .. I wouldn’t have thought to ask if she had someone to look after her
