Parliament Recall (Saturday12th) over the British Steel (China Owner Locked Out)
Good News.
As it is hours before they close that site down. Back on Saturday SkyNewsHD Live |
PM Starmer was just in the Media room
He Confirmed the Emergency Legislation Bill Live Debate in Parliament and the Lords from 11AM in one day. So The Government will take Control of British Steel. No idea of the Costs, yet. Piss off China The GMB Union back this. |
|
|
Sarah Jones Labour MP
confirmed they had no choice As the China Owner wasn't buying coal supplies. Trying to close it down. 1982 was the last time this happened. But still, the Coal is bought from Japan or other nations which is stupid, as the UK still has Coal in the ground |
Reform UK wants
it to be Totally Nationalised. And are trying to put an amendment down? Stupid Labour thinks they can find another buyer to ripp us off. |
Quote:
Personally I'd like to see it nationalised ' and' THAT IS being looked at by the government. Unbelievably for once I do agree with Richard Tice and Reform that it should just be nationalised now. However I also understand the government's still caution as to that. Securing everything short term now is extremely important with the longer term plans really thought out over a little more time. There's nothing really stupid about doing that. |
The Conservatives brought this up
on Tuesday just gone the last day. Pathetic Labour did not do this then. |
PM Starmer and Kemi
both there |
it's not british steel, it's chinese steel. I understand in these times we need a steel industry for our security, so boot out the chinese and take it over and use it to support our military into the future
|
Good News
just Reported Police and Workers stopped the China Jingye Management from entering today |
Parliament
run out of time to debate it all. Now it is in the House of Lords |
|
2 Old Men
in the House of Lords fell asleep Both from Labour. They should be sent home |
MP are back in the House of Commons
around 5PM today. |
|
|
|
BREAKING - While attention was understandably focussed on British Steel yesterday, a
daily record of 623 small boat migrants crossed illegally from France. The highest daily total had been 592 on 3rd March. Dover lifeboat was called to assist Border Force respond to multiple calls. |
|
Some Reports today
are saying the importing of the coal may not get there in time. The Fire may still go out? So Dragging Parliament back on a Saturday was far too late |
The mind boggles, why the UK is importing coal with all the associated costs involved in getting here both financial and environmental when it has its own resources

Quote:
Yes [Make Britain a clean energy superpower] https://labour.org.uk/change/make-br...gy-superpower/ Their rush, has buggered the UK up |
they have electric furnaces at that plant, no need for coal
|
Apparently UK coal has too much sulphur....so they import from Japan....thats a nice carbon footprint...
