Let's face it.
Patsy nominating Jack was soap on soap violence.
It's basically a hate crime. |
they have a lot in common. They both describe themselves as actors while only having played themselves for decades.
|
…as David Potts would say…?…let’s not forget that he’s a murderer…Patsy’s nominating for justice…

You could drag 20 people off the street and they could be soap "actors" within a week. Zero talent, just learning lines and standing in the right place

Indeed some of the best movies have major characters played by complete newbies to acting .. Then we see so many comedians who move so easily into the acting business successfully Also one of our favourite tv series 1883 had two famous country and western singers in the two major roles |

Oddly I recall a famous, high protein actor joined Coronation Street many years ago for a few weeks .. I couldn’t see that he was any better than the soap actors … maybe he was restricted by the quality of the script |

I mean soap opera actors are totally workmen actors. Many of them don't see their profession as an art or a craft as much as they see it as simply being a job. One of the few jobs nowadays where you basically have an opportunity at an unbroken continuous run of around fifty years of work and then retirement with a gold watch and a cigar.
