The Sun confirmed that Mickey will not get his full fee.

I don’t even know why they wanted him when they knew of his erratic behaviour I’m surprised he passed the tests to be deemed fit to be let in there in the first instance.

…I don’t know if that’s true yet by that one article but I’ve never felt that he was intentionally trying to be ejected etc…I mean that would be completely in contrast of character to the Mickey we’re seeing in there…and it also wouldn’t make any sense in terms of him going in, in the hope of a career lift for him as he’s said his career is ‘down the toilet’…being ejected for controversial or inappropriate behaviour is not going to boost his career opportunities etc…

I doubt he needs the money. He's a working actor who is already a millionaire.
If I was him I would retire and enjoy life.
But I know he likes working, so he probably won't.

TBH, considering how hard he carried week 1 they should give him a bonus.

It surely would have been written in his contract though if ejected it would affect the fee? So surely he’d be aware of it before going in.

They HAVE to give a reduced fee on ejection, as that's clearly one of the ways they enforce warnings with celebrity BB. In normal BB the threat of being kicked is enough. With Celeb half of them would happily leave after a day for the full fee. So if it's not built into the contract that being removed for rule breaking/conduct doesn't reduce the fee paid, far too many would be deliberately trying to be removed early. They have to "make an example", so to speak.

All things considered while it's offered interesting viewing - I don't think he was actually fit to be in there and should never have been cleared. Probably should never have been considered. Ethically speaking.

They also always talk about people "agreeing to leave" - I suspect off camera there's probably a negotiation with the person themselves or their legal representatives where they haggle out a partial fee.

He said that he had to borrow just under 500,000 to get through the writer's strike a bit back... He is probably worth that 5 mill in property etc but it is likely that he has borrowed against that.

I like the guy, but I think that he probably does need the money to cover repayments.

Yes to be fair people often don't appreciate that net worth includes property and investments and other assets. I doubt he's "cash poor" but he can be worth 5 mil and "only" have 5 or low 6 figures in the bank without cashing things in.

Lots of "regular" middle aged folks in the UK with half a million easily in their house & pension but only a few thousand in their current account - or even minus-balance in unsecured debts.
