Celebrity Big Brother in 'fix row'
after fans notice Chris Hughes lets slip
he knows about Katy Perry space mission

[The space mission took place on April 14
when the celebrities were already
in the Big Brother house without access
to the outside world and social media,
Chris brought up the controversial event.

Speaking with his housemates, Chris appeared to
catch Jack P Shepherd off guard
as he asked him: 'If you had the opportunity
to go to space like Katy Perry did would you?']

I thought this was weird as well actually but presumably he'd just read beforehand that she was going up

Yes, he must have found out
just before going in

I think it's a non event probably.
It was known well beforehand she planned to go into space.
So that's the more likely explanation.

Although it didn't actually happen until CBB was in flow.

There could in reality have been any hitches to it actually taking off or she could have even pulled out of it
They wouldn't and shouldn't have known that.
However he did say she'd gone into space.
People will make of that what they will.

You know on occasion BB would show HM's big events, or at least tell them, on the outside world. I wonder if they were shown the launch live in the house or something, and was hoping to get some content out it?! But with all the backlash and it being universally panned, they decided against airing what the HM's said about it?!

I doubt it, but it's a theory i guess.

I don't think the media knew about it until the last moment, so I agree, he's had access to news WHILE in the house.

Whoever he was talking to didn't seem to know about it, though.

It seems most likely that he's read about it being planned in passing before going in and possibly didn't even realise that it hadn't already happened... just remembered reading something about "Katy Perry going to space".

Yeah that's probably more likely

No, the news about her going to space was revealed months before she did. And it was all over TikTok and social media in the days leading up to them going in the CBB house.

'If you had the opportunity to go to space like Katy Perry did would you?'

Id imagine one of the support staff mentioned it without thinking or they just let them use their phones for 20 mins a day and don't tell us about it
