The first time JoJo has felt free in her life?

In the house, this could be one of the first times JoJo has actually felt free in her life. No bossy mother in her ear constantly (her letter was so scummy last night imo), no agents and other people pulling her from pillar to post. No toxic social media. She just been allowed to have fun and interact with people she probably never would.

Didn't know much about her before going in, but since then i have watch a few videos about her on youtube. For all what she's been through, all the pressure, the fame, the hate, she's come across as such a nice young woman in the house. And look at how well she's handled it all. No fake tears and BS, no real bitching (no more than anyone else anyway), i dunno, i have a huge soft spot for her.

I have money on Danny winning, but i'd be over the moon if she won tonight.

Yeah her Chris stuff has been cringy at times, but as a whole she's been a fantastic HM.

Its nice to see her and Jack get along..2 child stars

jones89 25-04-2025 01:59 PM

Yeah 100% agree. Wouldn’t mind her winning

Gusto Brunt 25-04-2025 02:02 PM

I am seriously not bothered who wins.

It hasn't been that type of CBB where I thought someone doesn't deserve it.

They've all been the same in many ways.

JoJo winning would be great for her, but there's heartache in that because she'll be saying goodbye to Chris.

I don't think her girlffriend will be happy with Chris sleeping in as a 'guest' in her house in the USA. :p

rusticgal 25-04-2025 02:17 PM

I don't dislike her. For such a young lady she has a very mature head on her shoulders. However I think she ruined it for herself by latching so much on to Chris...and although she got on with nearly everyone we really only ever saw her with him.

I’m not sure she still has a girlfriend ..

Am I correct in thinking they have a long distance relationship .. I got the impression they don’t live together for some reason

They've only been together since Jan or Feb of this year, that's all i know. But going on the letter from home she's probably in the US

True

Although their special relationship has been intriguing for us ‘people watchers’

Ahhh

I thought the girlfriend lived in Australia for some reason

Maru 25-04-2025 03:16 PM

Her having started all this stuff when she was young and on reality no less is very difficult. I think the show she was on was not the best environment also. I have some sympathy for that but can't deny it's given her opportunities most of us can only dream of. So I don't feel bad per say. She can pick a different life at time and disconnect from all that with her means. It's why I don't feel bad for Prince Harry.

AnnieK 25-04-2025 03:19 PM

Her partner lives in Australia I read

I feel like that's less true for child stars (and someone like Harry) than it is for most celebrities to be fair; it's the only life they've ever known. I also do get "hints" that Jojo, only just coming into adulthood, is still to quite a large extent "Mom-managed" career-wise which makes it even less likely that she'll simply choose to stop. Not at this age, anyway. Might end up doing something totally different later in life.

Like i say, i didn't know much about JoJo before entering the house (i had heard of her though), but there's something about her mum that is very off putting, can't quite put my finger on it.

I mean the whole thing Jojo initially got famous off of was a reality show called "Dance Moms" which she was on (with her mum) when she was only 9 or 10... that pretty much tells you all you need to know IMO.

Yeah, im sure her mum still controls many aspects of her life, hence thinking up this thread. She probably feels free in the house. She doesn't want to leave, i know that much.

Kate! 25-04-2025 03:56 PM

Chris has undoubtedly sabotaged her chances but I really like her.

Benjamin 25-04-2025 04:11 PM

I like JoJo. I think Chris has hampered her chances of winning but she’s been a great housemate overall, and she seems like a very sound person, especially considering she was a child star. She’s not bratty or selfish at all which I was expecting.

Lovely girl - not my cup of tea

This is random but I love her voice - she sounds like an effeminate gay man who smokes 5 packets a day.

joeysteele 25-04-2025 04:58 PM

I'm not going to be popular here with this but I'm sorry, she is 21.
She is an adult.

The fact she's been with someone a short time outside the house should have had her even moreso thinking about that person's feelings when in the house.
She says she saw her off at the airport.
So it was meaningful.

Now coming to Chris, I do think he's ruined her chances but with HER willing assistance.
I've found his moves toward her at times creepy and even slimey.
However too, he has ONLY been able to do so by JoJo both encouraging him and enabling him to do so.
With no thought from her to someone who was supposedly her partner when she went on CBB.

So I blame BOTH equally.
Speaking for myself, I felt this series had the greatest potential at the start.
Over the weeks these 2 ONLY BOTH of these 2 have more ruined the series for me.
So I've no sympathy at all for Chris but neither for JoJo either.

She hasn't even been short of possible friends in the house.
She's had no real conflicts.
She's not been regularly up for eviction.
Yet she has CHOSEN herself to more isolate herself, in the way SHE has permitted too.

Cherie 25-04-2025 05:02 PM

aw I like Jo Jo and would have no issue with her winning, she seems a very grounded young lady, and you have to wonder if she has been pushed in certain directions by her Mum and she never really questioned it, the letter last night was pretty cold

I think she said her GF was going to come for the final so lets see if that happens

Saw this on Reddit about her Mum:

I know quite a few facts about jesslyn siwa that really makes me feel bad for jojo some of them are is.

She started dying Jojo's hair at 2 years old. She lives of Jojo's success and pulled her out of preschool to go to la leaving her son and husband to focus on her daughters carer. Jess was the one that wanted Jojo to be famous. She made Jojo peform when she was very unwell (mind you jojo was underage around 9-15)

She also acts as Jojo's manger so her letter makes sence to me as it was a much more pr messege than a personal one from her mother

Tbh…it didn’t intrigue me. I found it boring and predictable. I more enjoyed the relationship between Danny and Donna and the independency of Jack.

Joey..I totally agree with your stance.

Poor girl. I hate parents like that.
