Do you drink Stella Artois?

Or do you see it as a wife-beater’s drink?

Benjamin 27-04-2025 07:58 PM

If it’s the only thing to drink (which is very rare) I would. It’s not great though.

Crimson Dynamo 27-04-2025 08:28 PM

Love it

But that’s not true, is it?

Glenn. 27-04-2025 10:27 PM

No it tastes like ****

Alf 27-04-2025 11:11 PM

Had a little spell on it fairly recently, but at the moment I'm on the Budwiesser. Bud and Madri are probably my go to choices of lager right now, don't see me going back to Stella unless it's the best on offer where I am at the time.

Alf 27-04-2025 11:14 PM

Coors is an OK lager, I sometimes go for that.

bots 28-04-2025 10:10 AM

i always found that stella gave me a headache the next day, i don't think it's the purist of beers

Its an inaccurate, embarrassing sexist meme

Peroni, San Miguel, Moretti, Budweiser, Coors, Heineken, Corona among many many others share the exact same Alcohol content as Stella so will have the exact same effect.

Gusto Brunt 28-04-2025 01:09 PM

I don't, and I don't drink any booze. Haven't for 11 years. :p

Steinhauser Lager from Aldi is 4.7 percent and is brewed to the strict German purity laws

The German Beer Purity Law, known as the Reinheitsgebot, dictates that
German beer can only be brewed using four ingredients: barley, hops, water,
and yeast. This law, established in Bavaria in 1516, has been a cornerstone of
German beer production and is celebrated for its emphasis on quality and
traditional brewing methods.

Ages ago (especially in the South) it was one of the strongest lagers you could get by the pint in England so people would drink it to get hammered quickest

something like that

Then this thread’s obviously not for you, no-offence.

MTVN 28-04-2025 05:33 PM

Love a pint of Stella. Comes in a nice chalice as well

It used to be 5.2% which is probably why it became known as wife beater booze but it's only 4.6% now

Crimson Dynamo 28-04-2025 05:36 PM

Dont dick around lads

get this down you

People always say Birra Moretti is, likewise, strong but I just don’t feel that with Moretti. Local Polish shops are there for when I want really strong beer. I could’ve sworn some of them were 12/13% strong. So Moretti is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
