Have you heard the Cuckoo?

Not heard one for years and now we have heard two in different locations in the last few weeks, if I could upload the video here I would....anyone?

We were discussing the other day that whilst nearly everyone has heard about cuckoos and their behaviour yet nobody had ever seen one or even knew what they looked like !!

…we have had local cuckoo’s in the past…(…maybe human ones as well…)…but I haven’t heard any where we’re living now…it’s nice to have inherited those cuckoo neighbours, Cherie…

…I went to Taverham Mill Nature Reserve last week and the woodland areas there were a hazy blanket of bluebells also…back in the day as a child, that was quite a commonplace sight but not so much now, it’s very stunning…

Oh OK, I always give out about them when I hear them saying they've probably kicked out and killed loads of baby birds to steal their nest and their parents  There seems to be plenty around Kerry direction anyway

No Neem what happens is they lay and egg in a nest and let the other bird hatch the egg, when the cuckoo hatches it chucks any other little ones out of the nest, nature at its finest

Sometimes the mother cuckoo gets rid of one of the eggs that's already there and replaces it with her fat ass Cuckoo baby egg and then the fat ass cuckoo baby throws the other babies out after they're born :oh:
