No, it is never-ending.

Nurse Homes fear he is going to halt
their legal workers.

Labour wants to be like Reform UK
is the general feeling.

Press are ready to ask questions

SkyNewsHD will show it in Full.

BBC 1 AM right now
has Richard Tice MP Live

Cherie 12-05-2025 07:05 AM

I feel its going to be a **** show, no one is worried about people coming here to work and the social care sector needs these workers, what people want stopped is 4 million a day spent on putting young men up in hotels, what does he not understand about that..

There is a current problem
of illegal migrants (from hotels) working in Car Washes
more Cash for them

Any Business
Who would like Legal Immigration
must now invest in the UK

arista 12-05-2025 07:43 AM

Questions:

Chris Mason (BBC), are you promising
to reduce immigration?

PM Starmer Yes
He will even take more measures

arista 12-05-2025 07:53 AM

Times asks about the 9million in UK
who will not work in a care home.

PM Starmer says some of them can not work.

Another asked about Illegal Migrants
that are going up?

PM Starmer said we are getting on with
trying to stop that.

arista 12-05-2025 07:55 AM

PM Starmer has now Concluded

Beso 12-05-2025 07:58 AM

Pity this move isn't designed to benifit the UK, it's for the Labour party and is nothing more than attempt to stop it crumbling. The public ain't stupid.

Cherie 12-05-2025 07:59 AM

You can't just put any unemployed people in a care home, caring is a vocation like nursing, putting any old bod in a care home is a receipe for disaster

Yes, it can not be rushed
for PM Starmer

Cherie 12-05-2025 08:12 AM

Apparently there is a Bill going through the commons today that will give Asylum seekers the right to become citizens and age verification will be removed :joker: No wonder he never mentioned the boats

Care homes should be made to pay their staff better. Take a look a what care home owners drive... They can afford to pay more.

joeysteele 12-05-2025 09:21 AM

I'm not impressed at this joining in, even thinking of going on an anti immigrants line
It's a major issue admittedly but this not looking at them as human beings but as only negatively as numbers..
Isn't anything I can support or stand for.

However this is just a likely moving closer to the more rabid elements of the Reform lot.

This new move could take away or limit those very important people from other Countries and CULTURES, who work hard in our care sectors.
Just to please louder aggressive voices with prejudice against immigrants no matter what.

It will appeal to some I guess, it doesn't to me.
I'm not a supporter of any kind of being on the road of hate over hope or dividing over unity.
As to ALL citizens on Earth.
I want nothing to do with prejudice or anyone who holds prejudices against other human beings, no way.
They're more the people the UK would be better without.

Beso 12-05-2025 09:32 AM

Self loathing Brits, don't you just love em!

arista 12-05-2025 10:39 AM

[I'm not impressed at this joining in,

Well, that's not ANYTHING I'd like or admire.
It's just scapegoating other people if other Countries for a series of governments, ( plural), failings.

Cherie 12-05-2025 10:55 AM

I honestly think Starmer has lost the plot, going for the pensioners, the disabled, the farmers, and now LEGAL migration which brings in tons of revenue via visa costs and Uni students ...... the man is literally looney

His New White Paper
is going through Parliament.

Politics Live 12:15PM

BBC2HD

I record it.

user104658 12-05-2025 11:07 AM

Making it harder to get residence will do huge damage to Universities and the wider economy... it'll still be no issue getting the right to come and study, but once people have studied and graduated in a country, many of them (for obvious reasons) will then want to stay, not go back to their country of origin... and graduates are exactly the type of immigration that is nothing but a positive for the economy. Absolutely mental to say to the world "Well you can come and study and become an educated professional but then we're going to make it more difficult for you to stay and work here".
