There is already a Biden thread, so this is a projectiles in glasshouses thread.

No, this was Live on USA TV
on the UK TV.

Democrats knew of the then-president
was having serious mental trouble.

So all those Democrats must declare what they knew
As he should have stepped down months before he did

I agree with the bit in bold, but the rest is just irrelevant at this point in time.

Do you think R's will publicly admit that sleepy don isn't half of what he was in 2016? Of course not. Politics is supposed to be about improving lives, not about this stupid nonsense.

If you want to ascertain whether the dems have bad judgment, then yes, the answer is yes they do. R's are just as bad, and actually worse in many respects.

I know this is a new talking point in US RW media; that they have to get to the bottom of this question, but there is a reason why they don't want to concentrate on the achievements of trump instead.

arista 17-05-2025 03:52 PM

Biden was in a bad way
for too long.

Democrats Cover Up
is the story.

The Slim Reaper 17-05-2025 04:00 PM

Biden stepped down on July 21, 2024.

Ninastar 17-05-2025 04:52 PM

I saw this on tv earlier. It really is such a shame. There should be laws in place that protect any presidential candidates from being used by their own parties.

The fact that it was hidden for so long, until it was too late is just criminal in itself. People in politics seem to care more about political gain than they do the actual health of their ‘coworkers’ per say

Liam- 17-05-2025 05:02 PM

How do we all feel about the current presidents very clear mental decline?

Ninastar 17-05-2025 05:10 PM

I feel like there should be an age cut off for being president but then I also know that would be discrimination so I’m torn. However I don’t think trump is declining, I think he’s just becoming more and more… trump if that makes sense

bots 17-05-2025 05:13 PM

american politics is broken. There no longer is right or wrong. It was obvious to everyone that Biden wasn't capable of a second term, they didn't need confirmation, but the president is all powerful, the party machine were not allowed to speak out. It took the likes of Clooney who is not part of the machine to speak out before anything happened.

Biden was still pretty lucid in the first year of his term, the problem is decline can happen very quickly in your late 70-80's. Tomorrow, Trump could be like a vegetable, that's old age for you

Did you watch Kennedy show you who your man really is?

I didn't watch until the end, but I got to the point I think you're trying to make, and let me point out how and why it's wrong. Bernie doesn't accept donations from the Pharmaceutical industry, but if folks who work in that sector make small, individual, donations, than they are tallied up and reported as being from that sector.

So let's say that you work in a vaccine processing plant, and you decide to donate $10 to bernie because he's fighting for your workers rights, then that donation would be reported as being a donation from pharma, when in reality it is from an individual. Hope that helps, my brother.

Oliver_W 17-05-2025 07:35 PM

Not able to talk proper.

There's a lot of that around.

Did you get paid by big pharma to write that drivel?

It would be very difficult to implement with current HIPPA laws I think as Biden does have a right to medical privacy.

Nah plenty of roles have maximum age at entry requirements (e.g. military roles) and several others have mandatory retirement ages, usually 65 or 70, e.g. Pilots, and also judges in several states. Could easily fit the POTUS as a role into one of those categories, there's precedent.

I also thing Trump inevitably is in minor mental decline (he's almost 80, it's very unlikely that he ISN'T less sharp than he was 10 years ago) but it's not to the extent of Biden latterly.

But then, he's still a couple of years younger.

I imagine it'll be more obvious by 2029.
