Loose Women and Lorraine episodes cancelled.

Good!

ITV bosses have axed Loose Women and Lorraine episodes for 22 weeks of the year, in a brutal shake up of their Daytime schedule.

A meeting was held today in which production teams and talent were updated on the plans, which also include cutting Lorraine episodes by 30mins and extending Good Morning Britain.

Two awful shows, should have been retired years ago

Excellent news

Janet Street Cleaner should never have been allowed on our screens after admitting she knew what Jimmy SaVile was up to all those years and did nothing

Lorraine and Loose Women AXED
for half the year - as ITV cut backs

Yes, Lorraine failed to be there enough.

[Lorraine and Loose Women have been axed for half the year
and Lorraine's runtime has been slashed by
30 minutes, as ITV Daytime bosses announced
huge cuts today with job losses in excess of 220.

Host Lorraine Kelly faced the brunt
of the cuts with Good Morning Britain now taking
her 9-10am slot for 22 weeks of the year.

For the remaining 30 weeks of the year,
Lorraine will present five days a week,
meaning her Friday stand-in presenters
Ranvir Singh and Christine Lampard are no
longer needed for the show.
