Been a while since ive brought this lady's attention to TIBB

Last time I think I was showing you an interview she had whilst sitting on her own, she mentioned cutt8ng her balls off in prison back then. I felt for her.

There were some good points made by the counter protesters here, ones I struggle with myself - mainly with the extreme side of the trans movement there can be circumstances in which it reinforces regressive gender roles, and the overtly garish way some of them on this video presented to illustrate womanhood is offensive and potentially misogynistic.

Being a man and wanting to wear a skirt is doesn't mean you should actually be a woman. Particularly with children, there shouldn't be an effeminate boy labelled as trans when actually he just might grow up to be a camp gay guy! So I do agree with some of their points surrounding that. The same

Moreover, absolutely no trans-right protest should be lead by someone who has served time for sexual abuse.

At the same time, I think it's equally regressive to confer someone's womanhood (or manhood, but it's especially backwards to do with womanhood) to just the reproductive organs someone has, which is what many on the counter-side does.

Unfortunately, a lot of the extremists like those in this video don't do the majority of trans people many favours, and they don't represent the vast majority of trans people just wanting to live a regular life in peace.

Thank you for that very thoughful take on the video, I couldn't watch it through because the people protrayed as trans simply are not, they literally hate women, and this has been my point from the beginning, transwomen are not like this we have rubbed alongside transwomen for decades, self ID brought all these 'transwomen' to the fore, they love being able to trample on women, their reaction to a few young girls simply holding flags says it all, and their point about lots of other young women who would like to have a say but simply cant for fear of losing their jobs or their studies is heartbreaking in all honesty

Yes I think this is one of the clear current dangers for young people; of course it's always been challenging for young people who don't fit their "prescribed gender mould", but "without being influenced" most of those people would grow up to understand and accept (and love) those aspects of themselves and understand that being "a boy or a girl" doesn't mean ANYTHING about what their personality, style or interests "should" be. Increasingly at one point (it is on the decline again thankfully) the idea immediately floating around that was "Oh well then maybe you have a different gender". I think ironically... it's extremely backwards thinking. "Oh you like this, speak like this, like these clothes? Well have you then considered that you might NOT be a boy/girl?". HOw does one hold that stance without the follow-up thought being, "Because boys/girls act like THIS - _____________"

Totally agree with your points here. Just in regards to the BIB, I think unfortunately it ends up getting there sometimes when women have to bluntly spell out the biological reasons for why sex matters for us in some cases and it's linked to our biological differences not our gender expression
