But he never tells us how many times they are Cut.

So why aren't 'we' cutting Russia's cables?

Good point

Because Russia is a huge continental land-mass with countless international land borders, and the UK is a small island.

In short; all of our cables have to go under the sea because we are surrounded by the sea. Russia is not surrounded by the sea.

war is a different beast these days. We still need the basic hardware elements but the tech is completely different


the russians have been cutting cables around all the islands in europe for at least the last decade
