[Riots broke out in Northern Ireland last night following the arrests of two teenage boys who needed a Romanian interpreter when they appeared in court for attempted rape. Around 2,500 people gathered in the Harryville area of Ballymena, Co Antrim, yesterday after the alleged incident, which is said to have taken place in the town on Saturday evening. Two 14-year-old boys had appeared in court in court after the serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in Clonavon Terrace.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...terpreter.html |
Violence broke out on the streets of Northern Ireland following an alleged sexual assault
by two teenage boys who are thought to be Romanian. A separate police statement from Sunday said they had been charged with attempted rape in connection with a serious sexual assault. MP Jim Allister claimed the violence followed a peaceful protest “Within Ballymena there has been rising concerns about the sheer scale of foreign migration into the town and that would have been a factor in the wholly peaceful protest. Not young men fleeing war-torn Romania?
If you keep shoving these migrants into poor areas, giving them social housing when it's already in short supply, then one or more of them feels up or otherwise assaults a female, you're going to get unrest |
Burning down migrant houses isn't a good look.

Yes, it is terrible. |

And their national team finally won a game of Football as well.
But being 100% serious, I get that these people feel like they're not being listened to and it can make you think about doing things that (imo) is an easy way to respond to something like this. But the Government will never listen to anyone that thinks that being violent is the answer, simply because the majority of the public will have the Government's backing if the opposition to one of their policies is going around rioting. I believe that you need to make your point in a smart way, that's less emotional. Obviously I am a very emotional person, so I fail at my own advice to some extent as well. |
So these riots are okay but if immigrants are involved in rioting for whatever reason then it's not okay? People need to make up their minds.

The law-abiding people of Ireland have clearly had enough

Most people won't side with Rioters. I can't speak too much about the IRA stuff, because they were a problem that were largely gone by the time I was around. |
Pretty disgraceful to set fire to houses just because they are Romanian :nono:
It's likely the two Romanian boys could have been any nationality but have been influenced by Tate and his ilk Apparently other non Irish nationals are putting signs in their windows saying they are Fillipino or whatever, not good |
I don't agree with the rioting but I understand it. Nothing will change, no one listens, the immigrants keep coming and get treated better than our own people and if you question it, you're racist.

I honestly hate all riots tbh
Peaceful protests are okay (unless they are blocking highways/motorways/roads) but I personally feel like most of the people who riot, just want to get away with doing an insane amount of damage that they probably won’t ever be charged for |

Mindless thugs that just want to go out to destroy things and hurt people, they couldn’t care less about the victims of these crimes
