Can you speak in tongues?

Crimson Dynamo, you ever led a sermon in tongues? Are we balling with God like that?

I could never get the hang of it back when I used to watch the Harry Potter Films.

I speak Hebrew, there are those who imagine that's the same thing.

It's mentioned in the Bible a few times, mainly in Acts. The apostles speak in tongues at Pentecost and people accuse them of being drunk on wine even though it's the morning lol

It's normally referring to being able to speak known languages though whereas some Christians now just speak gibberish and say it's 'speaking in tongues'

It's mentioned in Life of Brian too. "Can those speaking in tongues keep it down a bit."

I used to do that with a girl from Skinflats, just outside of Falkirk. She also had a burning bush. 2 trips to the chemist and that got sorted.

Mind if I ask how long it took you to learn Hebrew?

I took extra classes at Hebrew school when I was a kid, extra study alongside mainstream school. I could speak it a bit but you have to learn a whole new alphabet. I took classes for six years.
