I could understand if there wasn't a great demand for the book and it fell on Sabbath, but I can very much imagine most of the people queuing outside the businesses that are opening are also Jewish - so I don't see the problem?

I also notice you try to have your cake and eat it to, on one hand you attack orthodox jews for this, on the other hand you attack "zionist jews", as though the two are the same, attack them for different things but collect them together under the banner "Jews" when you attack policy in the Middle East. I though debate was all about what opposite sides know, and the putting across of opinion where you reach either consensus or impasse, should one side refuse to accept logic, truth and reality.

Dont kid yourself , you might not be a harry potter fan , but it was a story that made news worldwide , the culminaiton to one of the most well known and successful seires of books ever. Millions of copies sold in under 24 hours. People dressed as witches and wizzards lining street corners. If that was not a pop-culture event I dont know what is.
