Chelsea's first game is Monday night against Los Angeles at 8pm BST on C5 and Dazn. City play Wed at 5pm against Casablanca.

I know it's just a money making ploy, but the new format is a lot more interesting than previous Club World Cups, and should produce some decent games. PSG, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Juve, Porto, Benfica, Dortmund, and various other teams from across the world. Seems clubs are taking this quite seriously too. Kinda looking forward to it.

It's really difficult to be interested in teams that i don't follow

I wouldn't pay for it, but it's something to watch for a month, beats internationals. I dunno, yeah it's a scam, but im somewhat intrigued.

All eyes will be on Trent and RM

The teams will be taking it seriously given the £100 million prize money

That’s why Real Madrid suddenly offered £10 million for TAA and why Chelsea bought Delap for £30 million and insisted he joined up with the team rather than the England under 21 squad

meanwhile San Diego FC though a so far quite good debut year, without too many big name signings

i reckon Real Madrid vs Al Hilal could be a good match, Al Hilal especially after a disappointing season would still have something to give their all for

with Simone Inzaghi as their new manager too


also will be nice first match for Xabi Alonso as Real boss, he is getting lots of love already from the RM fans, with his hands on training methods (very different from Ancelotti tbh)

Real Madrid under Alonso and with TAA playing a very influential (and free) role should be fabled to watch in the coming season … my beloved Barca and all the youngsters will be a year older and better

I've tried the Bayern game on the app live now, and it is free, they just throw the pay stuff in your face first, but you can navigate around it.

Well it works the same as the actual world cup, so the group stages have a few small clubs/low quality etc. Just like in the world cup with a handful of poor footballing nations

It's because Australia left the Oceania competitions to play in the Asian ones which were more competitive. The Oceania champions league is now just pub teams from New Zealand and a few island countries like Papua New Guinea
