Would you like to try this fun past-time?

Mystic Mock 17-06-2025 08:30 AM

It's not for me.

Beso 17-06-2025 08:31 AM

No thank you, I would freak out about swelling after my packed lunch.

While I'm not agoraphobic, I love small spaces - I'd sleep in a coffin if I could

So sure, I'd give spelunking a go.

Cherie 17-06-2025 09:08 AM

jeez no I would have a panic attack

Have you tried sleeping in a sleeping bag each night ?

It's not actually unheard of! But I have a big pillow thing that's shaped like a U and encloses all of me. I originally got it to keep me in place after an operation, but I just kept it

I did some caving when i was in my early 20's, it's not for me

Livia 17-06-2025 11:07 AM

Like @bots, I went caving when I was a teenager although nothing like as extreme as the videos above. I remember there were a lot of sleeping bats at one point and some of the girls in the group were terrified of them flying and getting tangled in their hair. I was temped to make a lot of noise and wake them up, watch the girlies freak out... I also did canoeing on the same trip and I've never been tempted to do either again.

…nope, I wouldn’t like to do that…caves aren't generally somewhere I’d be but we did have a visit into Peak Cavern last year in Derbyshire…mostly you’re able to stand upright but there are few parts of the tour which are quite crouched to get through, which I didn’t love…it’s incredible and terrifying to think that people spent virtually their whole lives working those caves and rarely saw daylight ever…not a great life existence…

No definitely not
I remember a story a few years back a young doctor slipped and was trapped upside for hours and they tried to rescue him but due to being trapped upside down for so long he died
