Chinese Ph.D. student Jailed for Life : multiple rapes
 

[Zou was studying for a Ph.D. in
mechanical engineering at
University College London in 2023
when the first woman came forward
to allege that he had raped her.
As part of the investigation, police seized
Zou´s phone, on which they found videos
of him raping unconscious women.
A search of his apartment in
south London turned up sedatives
and recording equipment.

The investigation into Zou´s crimes
continues, and at least 24 women
have come forward with
new allegations as a result of the
publicity surrounding his trial,
London´s Metropolitan Police Service said.
Taken together, the cases would make
him one of the worst sex offenders
in U.K. history.

Zou, who also used the name
Pakho online, befriended fellow students
of Chinese heritage on dating apps
and WeChat, before inviting them
for drinks and drugging them
at his apartments in London
or an unknown location in China.

Using hidden or handheld cameras,
Zou filmed nine of the attacks
as "souvenirs," and he kept
a "trophy box" of his victims'
belongings, according to evidence
presented at trial.]

It won't be mainly Chinese people necessarily tbf.

True though there are Chinese gangs in the uk

They are probably in the minority .

I think Zizu thinks his autism is an excuse for xenophobia. And we’re all supposed to tip-toe around it because he’s just a confused old fudger who means no harm. All roads in Serious Debate lead back to “foreigners” with this one but we’re not allowed to call him out for his BS without being accused of ableism. Next it’ll be discrimination against people who like the ham butties (yuck) he so-fondly reveres.

Why skate around the issue

Just check back as long as you want ..

I’d suggest 90% of serious / violent/ sex related crimes are done by non English .

Absolutely devastating and terrifying, can't imagine what the poor victims are going through. Hopefully a harsh sentence for that monster.

Imagine turning a horrific story of crime, whereby victims lives are forever changed, into a race issue. Some people are truly obsessed with race it's impossible to see how it doesn't affect their day-to-day perception on non-white, non-English people.

Let's focus on what's important: someone who committed a disgusting crime will hopefully never see the light of day again. It blows my mind how people can end up committing such sickening acts...

…the UK system is so wrong…his 24yrs will probably around half that…?..12 years-ish and he’s only 28yrs old so he will still be released around 40yrs of age…for ‘one of the worst sex offenders in UK history…’….that just doesn’t have a feeling of justice at all to me…
