[Elon Musk says he has created a
new political party - the America Party - after asking
his followers if he should
do so in an online poll.

It follows his public falling out with
Republican President Donald Trump.

On Friday, the tech billionaire had asked
his followers on X whether a new
US political party should be created.
On Saturday evening he wrote on the
same platform: "By a factor of 2 to 1,
you want a new political party
and you shall have it!

"When it comes to bankrupting our
country with waste & graft,
we live in a one-party system,
not a democracy.]

He is overstepping his boundaries imo.

I highly doubt that he wants what's best for the American people.

so yeah towards next elections i could see potentially more appeal for Musk's party than the far right Republicans or the dumb spineless democrats

He has enough money to break the wheel of american politics. Many have been calling for more party's, but no-one has been capable of doing it yet

I agree with you that the Democrats haven't picked strong candidates recently.

Elon is an example of everything that is wrong with american politics, and its getting more frequent wherever you go around the world.

in america, they don't have a choice. Every political party is bankrolled by billionaires. I remember during the campaign, Harris had some item on her agenda that she mentioned once and then the bilionaire donors told her to drop it. It was never mentioned again
