The Scandinavian teams

Just got thinking with all the talk of Viktor Gyökeres ( Sweden ) and Alexander Isak ( Sweden) …

The Scandinavian teams have some amazing strikers and midfielders !!

Haaland
Odegard
Gyökeres
Asak
Elanga
Lucas Bergvall
Kulusevski
Bobb
Eriksen
Højlund

Could you imagine if they built a Scandinavian National team around these players?

They'd be huge contenders to win the World Cup.

No

also give it some time, maybe the likes of Haaland, Odegaard will see the rise of more talented players for Norway

and Sweden isn't disastrously bad though, never really has been, back in the day you also had Thomas Ravelli, Fredrik Ljungberg who were amazing

Sweden look to be by far the most talented group from what I can tell

5 of those 6 would walk into the current England team imho

I always forget that Isak is Swedish.

He plays more at the caliber of a French player imo.

Sweden have got to be happy at having him as their star striker.

as if sweden never had good teams competing at highest stages in european competitions

IFK Goteborg back in their glory years, won the europa cup I

and nowadays we see Djurgarden going deep in conference league last season, Hacken having had a top transfer deal, Ibrahima Sadiq to dutch sub top tier AZ Alkmaar

and also more recently in the eredivisie the likes of FC Groningen, SC Heerenveen done amazing business with scandinavian teams, now also Go Ahead Eagles, with an icelandic ace in Willum Willumsson, now for Birmingham City @Mystic Mock how does he play nowadays btw

Oliver Edvardsen, norwegian winger

recently went from Go Ahead Eagles to Ajax

might also have potential to make it into the norway squad someday maybe

Willumsson was vital for us in certain games last season.

I like him personally.
