Still probably not as bad as a car payment in the US atm...

Every year they complain about rail prices when loads of things increase above inflation

The cost of rail compared to much of Europe is absolutely insane, and the service they provide is sub-standard to add insult to injury.

When will this country ever get a handle on Inflation?

To get cheaper fares you need to book in advance.
