After serenading Prince Charles on his 30th birthday, Sheila Ferguson immediately became his favourite singer —

After Charles, 73, first met the American female soul group The Three Degrees, whose biggest hit was When Will I See You Again, he is said to have become so besotted with lead singer Ferguson that he made amorous advances towards her.

I remember years ago there were a few times The Three Degrees performed live on the telly and it seemed that Charles was always there .. . often huddling up close in between the three singers afterwards
