Rachel Reeves is staying in post as Chancellor.
Due to the worry of the Money Markets |
Seems a pointless reshuffle really. Hardly anyone new, just moving the same people around into different roles
|
I hope that anyone that's suggesting people should have Digital ID's are the ones being removed.:fc:

Some of these choices make me think Starmer wants Reform to surge further in the polls.

On the face of it, although I'm not pleased with some changes.
However this looks a possible, just possible better matching of people with positions. I'm glad Lucy Powell is gone and that Liz Kendall has been moved from work and pensions. That individual just will not listen. I'm surprised Lammy has been made Deputy PM. However the other changes seem to have some merits to them, for me they do anyhow. Short term to medium term, this may not alter much politically. However IF they all get their heads down and show real change then longer term, who knows. Who on earth will be Deputy leader is interesting to think about. However he's now split the roles of Deputy leader being Deputy PM. Because he has no say who is Deputy leader but now can choose the Deputy PM. Which may prove a rather clever move. |
What wouldn't Lucy or Liz listen to?
Did you phone them? |

I am pleased for Douglas Alexander. As I stated yesterday I'm glad Lucy Powell has gone, however as I also stated I was pleased Liz Kendall was moved from work and pensions. Kendall was an individual who didn't listen to concerns, I was a member of Labour and myself and other members had meetings with her team and herself too Raising our really worrying concerns as to changes in welfare. We got nowhere. She just appeared to dismiss all reasonable worries and just stuck to the mantra the changes had to be done. I was stunned at Steven Timms too frankly. So hopefully the team above will at least start to listen to members too and just not dismiss legitimate concerns. Not just from members but from the people too that policies will affect. Otherwise, unless Starmer has something else up his sleeve planned, he's got 4 years left in power and then that's it. |

Unfortunately for all of us, Digital ID isn't to do with Photo ID. Apparently Labour have been discussing having people's names on their Mobile Phones as a mandatory thing as a way to combat the Illegal Immigrants drama. Admittedly I did catch this information from a very biased person against Starmer/Labour, so you do have to take the information with a pinch of salt to some extent. But I am watching out for it, because this is the same Government that has put an age restriction on a Music platform.:umm2: |

I'll judge her on any results not from those who are more biased against her. I and other members found her reasonable to deal with. I think she did pretty well in the Justice department. At least she has a sense of humour too. I'm certainly not going to follow like a sheep, any media sources as to their opinion. |
