Introducing the simply amazing What3Words app !
 

Well .. we are currently living the dream in the glorious hidden gem known as Lindos , Rhodes .. personally having zero sense of direction I downloaded the fabulously popular app What3Words

Amazing !!

You search for a place you want to visit or you save the place were you are - at the moment or where you’ve parked the car and the app generates THREE completely random words that act as a set of co-ordinates forever !

Then you select the 3 words option in the ap and click on navigate to the link and you get an on screen compass taking you to your destination- accurate to a couple of metres !

It’s a good app for hiking/if you’re going out to places with little people. If you get in trouble but not sure of your location you can give those words to the emergency services.

Not with my skills it wasn't.:smug:

Yeah plus people like myself never have to worry about getting lost or losing the car again
