Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (SPOILER FREE)

I just finished reading it after 9 hours locked in the study (since 1am) with a bottle of strongbow and a few packets of peanuts. I must say it's a brilliant book, but didn't live up to my expectations. What about yous guys?

P.S. - Should I go to bed and sleep off my knackeredness or stick it out just incase I ******* up my body clock lol. :thumbs2:

Sophii3x 21-07-2007 09:23 AM

I got mine early this morning.. haven't read it yet because we bought three copies and my dad, sister and other sister took them.. so I'll wait!

It's not as thick as I thought it would be, but I can't wait to read it!

(If I was you, I'd go to sleep now)

Stu 21-07-2007 09:47 AM

Stay awake mate. I have mine read. It was perhaps impossible for it to live up to expectations but it almost done so.

You been up all night to? Or are you an extremely fast reader lol.
Half of me wants to stay up to stop me messing up my system and to avoid waking at midnight and being awake all night again but the other half of me is dying to lie down and sleep and my eyes are closing themselves lol.

Ruth*Star 21-07-2007 03:11 PM

I bought it today from asda for a fiver, which was a great price, i'm going to start reading it tonight.

Arneldo 21-07-2007 03:23 PM

I just read the summary on Wiki. Its a lot quicker then reading 700+ pages.

BigSister 21-07-2007 06:23 PM

You should also try listening to all the Big brother twists on the radio and never actually watch them. its a helluva experience .

I went to see Live Free or Die Hard last night at my local mall/movie theater (since they're together) and my dad and I were unfortunate enough to park by Barnes & Noble (The Bookstore)

So the movie was around 10, and we didn't get out until 12. We could barely get to our car since all the fanboys were reading the book outside of the bookstore.

What was your favourite part?

Mine was the "19 years later" bit lol.

Aparantly the deathly hallows is set in the year 1998 meaning the philosipher's stone was set in the year 1991. Meaning harry was born in 1980!

Bigbrotherin 22-07-2007 07:15 AM

BUMP

Ross 22-07-2007 07:35 AM

I'm getting mine today.
But I shant touch it till I go on Holiday August 5th.

You know, plane times can be a boring experience! :cheer2:

Amy 22-07-2007 11:34 AM
