Do peoples spirits really come back after death or do we get reincarnated? Or does nothing happen?

Are there really ghosts and poltergueists out there???

I personally don't beleive in your stereotypical white floaty "ghost" however I do beleive there is some sort of spiritual world which sometimes overlaps with ours.

Thats what I believe too but its just weird how these psychic people get things so accurate when they claim to be talkin to dead people

Yeah. Totally. I dont believe there are "ghosts" as such, but I do think there is another world out there, that maybe touches ours from time to time. Sometimes I think our living could be just the warm up and REAL life is when you "die" and enter the next world. =D

Ha, well I have seen a couple of ghosts, there quite shy things but if you get on their bad side, they can turn!

my nephew Andree lost his grandma a few years ago and when he went to bed one night he claimed he saw his grandma in his bedroom bless him :spin:

What is so silly about that? Personally I find the idea that we have a spirit that lives on silly. Bonkers mental in fact. Of course, as you are dead you will have no concept of things being black or the fact that it is going on for an eternity. So in a round about sort of way you are right.

OMG! yes!! Me and my friend and her mom went to this desernted haunted medieval house (its a tourist attraction - in the middle of nowhere). You have to walk loads to get to it and when we did we hopped the fence and looked through the wndows and stuff... then we knocked on the door as a joke... and there was 2 quere knocks on the window at the end.. (no one was in the house..) It was soo creepy!!! Deffinatley someone there coz it wasnt any of us.

First off, I have know idea as to why my posts are coming up twice. Soz anyway.

As I don't believe in heaven this will not happen. All so as my brain will have been starved of oxygen when I died it will be dead, so I will have no mind. Just nothingness. Not that i would be aware of that as, as I say, I am dead and rotting. End of.

Not ghosts as in things that go around haunting places etc.

I do believe that our soul leaves behind residual energy once we die, a memory, sort of. We don't go to heaven, our body (the vehicle for the soul) just rots in the ground - but our soul lives on elsewhere, with each new place you go you leave your energy, your mark.

I'm such an idealist at times.

People just don't like the idea of not being about so they make up ideas that comfort them.
