THIS year BB8 is just LACKING in HMs with personalties of thier OWN.
 

Apart from Brian and Charley (for good or bad reasons) are the only two HMs with stand out personalties.

The rest are all uptight and subsidaries i'm afraid to say.

Hence why this year the Highlights have been dominated by only 1 or 2 Hms (and the on or off chiggy stints).

Unlike BB7 where we had Glyn's goofiness, Pete;s mannerisms. Grace's Out right bitchiness.

Nikki with her tantrums; Richard the voice of reason and Aisleyne turning it all around.

ALL having more than their fair share of the HL's last year. I count that as at least 6 HMs with stand out personalties.

I don't think we should blame charley for the others HM inept attempt to do anything with substance. It is 7 weeks in going on 8 weeks now and still nothing?

BB8 just picked the wrong bunch this yr.

I can only imagine Brian and charley holding thier own in past series.

yep exactly! last year everyone was different from each other like everyone..... sezer he was like a big pervert man and mikey was just a ncie person and lea was just her own person like and sam and everyone if you think about they wer really different!... this year like most of the girls are the same like the twins and channelle and emily and that and the men are like ziggy and liam just bad bunch of people really.....

Charley is the only person with any interesting personality

I think this year is lacking alot of the types of characters we usually see in the house...a joker, a really camp guy etc. This year there are alot of really boring characters with the exception of Charley alone. I don't agree with Brian because I think he is putting on an act...and although I admire it it isn't his own personality as a whole in my opinion it is very clever gameplay and he is taking on a thick side of his personality which in fact is quite smart. It looks like we shall loose Charley next the biggest character this year and then the show will be awfully boring....no doubt they will add some new housemates to the mix to try and built it back up for a while but I cannot see it lasting.

Definitely lacking personality, thts why they manipulate to keep charley in. If she was in last years BB, they wont have any problem letting her go, because those HMs were fun, and they could handle losing big personalities, like Grace, Nicky Lea. Because they still had Aisleyne, Glyn, Richard that were still in the house.

The show itself this year has not developed a personality. The tasks and twists have just not engaged or stirred imaginations enough.

There are too many housemates with weak personalities this year.

Those severley lacking in personality I would say are Brian and his poor imitation of Frank Spencer.,Tracy and her pointless head jerks and Carole washerwoman on holiday are the worst offenders..........

Totally agree except the Brain thing. he is a great character. You could easily have imagined him in ANY of the other Big Brothers.

Heres my take on it : Watching opening night with the all girl house it seems like they purposely aimed to dillute the house. This Big Brother looks like its full of a batch of back up housemates.

Its like they had 2 groups to pick form and they choose the inferior.

Excuse me....but Seány was absolutely a HUGE personality. What are you talking about? It was a pity that his stay was cut short and we were unable to see him flourish...:cloud:
