The Importance Of Being Earnest

The reason Charley is important to our entertainment is because her straight-forward, uncompromising attitude plays havoc with the minds of the sneakier housemates, thus effecting the dynamics of the house and creates storylines.

To rely on these new housemates coming in on Friday is a mistake, in my opinion, that's guaranteed new entertainment, anyway. I think it would be so much better if Charley stays to keep the controversy and friction alive so that the gameplayers don't rule over the new additions and make things boring.

Verloren 26-07-2007 10:15 PM

I honestly don't find her entertaining. I don't see why everyone rants on about how entertaining she is. I just think she's a nasty bitch.

RAS 26-07-2007 10:15 PM

Shh, shes gone!

Never seen it so it didn't mean anything to me.

shes a gonna:elephant::elephant::elephant:

JOSHUAH! 26-07-2007 10:18 PM

Save Charley. No

She deserves to be a gonner. 6 new people tommorow, and I think even the producers know shes gone. I think these new people will be like her, or even worse. Charley deserves the loudest, biggest boo's tommorow. She is a bully, she is two faced, and although she may act all nice, she isn't. She can make all the money she wants when shes out of the house, but aslong as shes no in it making people feel bad, well I'm happy.

Trust me, my friend, you are preaching to a pretty thick crowd! They dont really understand sensibility or logic.

Basically, Charley's attitude makes the other housemates interesting.

When the new people come in, you can either put them in a harmonious house where they'll have to abide by Chanelle's rules, or you can have Charley still there creating tension and an entertaining atmosphere because of it.

Yes don't preach, it's patronising. If you want intelligent debate, go bug mensa. It's far too late, and I'm far too drunk to get my head around the intellectual spin you manage to weave around big brother and charley.

My point exactly!

Yes but you didn't have to insult people here in the process.

I didn't think I insulted you. Everytime you stated you didn't understand, I simplified my reasoning for you. How is that patronising or insulting?

No- someone said that you were preaching to a "thick crowd" just because I didn't understand what you meant. Big deal... Doesn't make everyone thick.

...it doesn't mean I was preaching, either, just because someone else said I was. (I was, slightly, but the Anti-Charley Logic mob needed to hear some reasoning)

Wildcat! 26-07-2007 10:43 PM

Not insulting, just warning him that the people around here are not exactly open for a logical discussion, but merely have their dislikes, and want to express them no matter what. Its not always like that though the chosen-one, as you may know, sometimes its possible people would understand what you're trying to point out. Depending on who are on the forum. Right now its more the thuggish, "get her out" kind. Like the ones in the eviction crowD!

But who are you to say what people are and aren't open to? Seems a bit smug.

How many times have you called Chanelle a slut now?

I understand your point of view, but that's why I used a name of a popular play/film, so that people might relate to it and not dismiss it with Anti-Charley Logic. Verloren had atleast heard the title before.

My thoughts Exactly...

nodisharmony 26-07-2007 10:50 PM

Charley has become a very disliked housemate this year, but we have watched her arguments and her crazy fits for too, too long and perhaps when she goes, ratings will tumble?

But, that is the way the cookie crumbles and I have got to say, the sooner she goes, the better:yuk:
