The halfway housemates can't 'bear' Jonty...

They've only been in the Halfway House for half a day, but the halfway housemates are already getting their claws (or paws) into Jonty and his teddy bears.

The 36-year-old introduced his cuddly toys to the other halfway housemates, saying, "This is Pokey, this is uncle Frider, and this is Monkey Tunkedy," but they merely talked over him, before giving him bemused looks.

"Did you not think it'd be better if you'd had more clothes though and toiletries rather than bears?" David asked.

"Oh, I didn't think of that!" Jonty laughed.

As soon as he left the room, his fellow halfway housemates revealed they didn't share his love for fake furry creatures.

"He do go on about his teddies a bit, do you know what I mean, I'm like..." Shanessa moaned. "I've got my teddy with me, but I wouldn't really go overboard."

"I like them a bit, like, they're cute and stuff, but..." Kara-Louise began.

"Could you imagine, like, going clubbing with them, or to a restaurant?" demanded Shanessa.

"No no, no, no no," Kara-Louise backed down.

And David had the last word: "*********** teddies!"

But the halfway housemates hadn't yet finished with Jonty, as Amy and Shanessa demanded to know what had happened to a pair of damaged, um, potatoes.

"Why is there all, like, slits and holes in them?" interrogated Amy.

"I think the idea was to make them into jacket potatoes!" he laughed.

"Was it you, Jonty?" David asked.

"No, it wasn't!" cackled Jonty.

Looks like you're in furry big trouble, Jonty...

He is rather annoying with those teddies :conf2:

I agree. He can at least try to act normal.

Kara seems really nice, you can tell how hard she's trying not to be nasty about his teddies.
