Well she died 6 years ago on the 25rd august mabe thats why.

well in her worldwide sales she has sold 34 million albums she had 1 number 1 single more than a woman in the UK and she was in two movies Romeo must die and Queen of the Damned she was much more known in america than england i think i dont know really.

She wasn't exactly big, probably became bigger after he death.

Yeah, but her death gave her music more attention around the world.

Death gives any performer a lot more attention and generally ups sales.
