BIG Brother beauty Chanelle Hayes last night revealed her torment at having to give up her unborn baby after getting pregnant at only 18. She made her emotional revelation as she opened her heart to the Daily Star. She told about being adopted, finding out her biological mum was murdered by a sex fiend and how she went off the rails as she struggled to cope.

"I so wanted to keep the baby but I knew I couldn't offer it a life"

CHANELLE Hayes has spoken for the first time about her decision to have an abortion.

She admitted: “It was the hardest choice of my life.”

The Posh Spice wannabe broke her silence about what she describes as one of the most emotional times of her life during an exclusive chat with the Daily Star.

And she admitted that even though she was only six weeks pregnant, she felt like a mum.

Although Chanelle, 19, suffered from the knowledge of her biological mother’s brutal death there was more heartache to come last year when she discovered she was pregnant.

“It was a really emotional time and I remember crying a lot,” she explained.

“My maternal instincts kicked in and I felt like a mum. But I knew there was no way I should keep it because I was so yound. I couldn’t offer it a life.”

Despite taking the pill and having safe sex, the blonde fell pregnant after a night with her boyfriend Spencer Lettice, 24.

Chanelle revealed: "We did everything right. I was on the pill and we used a condom.

"But it was just one of those freakish accidents and I found out I was pregnant.

"Part of me wanted to keep the baby but I knew at 18 I couldn't offer it a life because I could hardly look after myself.

"But Spencer was awful about it. He threatened me with all sorts if I kept it, saying things like he would take me to court and make sure I never had custody of it. It was horrible.”

She kept the pregnancy a secret from her adoptive parents because she was petrified about what they would say.

But she said: “Me and Dad were having a huge argument and I just blurted it out. He was shocked but said he would stick by me whatever decision I made.

“I had to have an abortion so I made an appointment at the clinic and had it done. Luckily I could just take a pill.

“The whole experience has made me realise that I have so much of my life ahead of me and I shouldn’t waste it.

“I’m just thankful that my parents adopted me and gave me the life I have now. I owe them everything.”

Yet another one who sees no problem with making misery from her so called traumatic 'secrets'. Chanelle, your 15 minutes of fame are up.

She is so bothered that all her clothes fell off leaving only her black and white underwear.

It annoys me that such a sad story can be told while pics of her stripped off are next to it.....obviously bothered

No wonder she was such a mental case. No sane person would worship Victoria Beckham.

I respected her decision but up tot he point where she says, she HAD TO HAVE an abortion.

No one has to have anything. It's a choice. You can choose to keep the baby or not, but to make it out like it was out of your hands and thus not your responsibility is wrong. She should have just said she chose to abort and have it at that.

Hmm, I just get annoyed when people aren't straight forward/put the blame on something else/don't accept responsibility.

I guess the sympathy vote is all she has left.
