Spies Like U.S. - Big Brother really is watching [and listening and recording]

In a shameless and cowardly move the Congress of the United States has allowed Presidents Bush to sign into law a statute that allows the United States Government to eavesdrop on all electronic communications between United States Citizens and "any foreigner" outside of the United States.

Without having to provide ANY evidence of terrorism, suspicion of terrorism, wrongdoing or ANY form of criminality whatsoever.

When freedoms are taken away like this carte blanche - the terrorists have won.

Some may argue that they have nothin to fear from such a move - and the vast vast majority of us don't - provided of course you now accept the concept of privacy in any subject discussed in phone calls, emails and even forums like this with an American is a thing of the past. Granted in forums such as this there is no real privacy in posted materials by its very nature - but George Orwell must be spinning in his grave.

I don't tend to talk to americans anyway lol. However I don't see why no other countries are kicking up a fuss about the US trying to tap calls and e-mails from OTHER country citezans.
