Dermot O\'Leary hits out at \"liar\" Vernon
 

Dermot O'Leary has claimed that Vernon Kay is a liar - for claiming that he would have turned down the opportunity to join The X Factor.

The 32-year-old TV host, who is taking over from Kate Thornton as presenter of the ITV1 talent series, was disgusted when he read an interview which saw Vernon insisting that he didn't want to front the programme.

"It's the biggest show in the country. Unless you're Jonathan Ross or Ant and Dec... if you say you'd turn it down, you're full of s***," Dermot told Heat magazine. "Everyone else who says they'd turn it down, they're lying."

He added: "Even Davina McCall wouldn't turn that job down - she told me herself."

The X Factor returns to ITV1 later this month.

It notice that x factor should be returning this month which is good news for any of its fans. Also Could you imagine davina presenting the show :D

Davina would be terrible at it

I would turn it down, especially if they hire people like Dreary O' Leary. For that fact alone I would be offended if I was ever considered for the job.

Davina would be great! Much better then Big Bore Dermot. David did 'Popstars: The Rivals' and was she was fantastic at presenting it.

Oh yeah she was good at that. I apologise Davina. I astill think Kate is the best one for it

I Think davina could do a good job presenting it , She did good with Popstars the rivals and i remember her being a good presenter on Dont try this at home.
So she can present more than BB :wink:
