Fantastic scoop, chilledbootz!

After all these months of silence, and the horrible, nasty rumours - at last this is what we've been waiting for. :hello:

It seems such a long time ago (and it is!)since Paul and Helen were seen together on Rich & Famous, but this will more than make up for it. :spin2:

Absolutely brilliant. :hello:

Bless their cotton socks - they're SO in love. http://www.plauder-smilies.com/smlove2.gif

LEE 26-03-2002 09:11 PM

OK, I'm afraid I couldn't wait until tomorrow, I remembered that my newsagents is open until 10pm so I have just been out and bought this. :spin2:

The pictures are absolutely gorgeous, especially the one in front of th Eiffel Tower - they look so much in love.

I haven't read all the article yet, I think I'm going to take the magazine up to bed and snuggle up for a nice good read. :spin2:

Here's a nice quote from the end of the article to keep you going till tomorrow.

------------------------------

Paul says, "My whole life involves Helen and I have a fantastic relationship with her. That's more important than anything."

"We do look at each other and realise how lucky we are. As long as Paul is happy then I'm happy," Helen smiles.

----------------------------

If anyone wants me to do a full transcript I will, but it will be tomorrow. :spin:

Sticks 26-03-2002 09:31 PM

I have a strong sense of

IMPENDING DOOM!!!

Did no one warn them about the

Curse of Hello Magazine

Kaz 26-03-2002 09:40 PM

Oh My God :shocked::shocked: :shocked:

Sticks - you can take your sense of 'impending doom' and stick it where the sun don't shine.

If you can't see that Paul and Helen are happy and in love, then I'm very sorry for you. :bawling:

Unfortunately, I won't be able to visit you in the Home for the Terminally Bewildered, to which you will shortly be admitted ......

splodge0 26-03-2002 09:43 PM

Why piss on peoples fireworks sticks. You're always doing it

It is not clever or even remotely funny

Janette 26-03-2002 09:45 PM

 Nice one Kaz

Don't mince your words Splodge0 :colour:

Sticks 26-03-2002 09:47 PM

Of course I can see that they are madly in love.

However, it sounds like you may not have heard of the Curse of Hello Magazine.

a number of madly in love celebrity couples have appeard in Hello, only for things to go pear shaped.

Nasty things happen to those who appear in Hello Magazine

Now Helen & Paul have appered in Hello Magazine....

I thought the "Curse of Hello Magazine" was widely known. Perhaps I was wrong on that .

Kaz 26-03-2002 09:54 PM

Mairi 26-03-2002 10:00 PM

I can't wait until tomorrow to buy Hello magazine. I'm "over the moon" for them both.

:love::hello::love::hello::love::hello::love::hell o::love:

Sticks 26-03-2002 10:05 PM

Don't get me wrong.

I want them to succeed.

I want to rub my former peers among the cynics and sceptics who insisted it would last only 3 months, noses in it.

I want to prove them wrong and me right.

I want them to be sorry for expelling me from their number for siding with romance

(sorry froth around mouth)

Not that I am bitter

I just wish they had picked any other magazine than HELLO

Like Heat ???

splodge0 26-03-2002 10:10 PM

Keep digging.

chilledbootz 26-03-2002 10:51 PM

I wondered why they didn't go back to Heat actually. Maybe they didn't want them!(shock, horror aghast).

susieq 26-03-2002 11:09 PM

Thanks Chilled for this - it's made my week, or even my year. I've been watching my BB2 tapes and getting all mushy and sentimental - this is the icing on the cake.

How absolutely wonderful. I'll be in the newsagents first thing tomorrow to buy it. The couple of quotes and pictures they've put on their site look great, can't wait to read and see the whole thing.

Sticks - go and find something else to feel doom laden about. Yes, we've heard of the "Curse of Hello magazine" but does anyone really believe it exists as an entity? I don't think so. They feature mainly big time celebs who, by the nature of the field they work in are subject to long periods of time apart, difficulty in sustaining relationships because of schedules, career jealousies etc, etc. With all due respect to Helen and Paul (who I love dearly) they are not in the 'big time' league - although v. important to us - and spend their time together, getting on with their normal lives and obviously there is no conflict in their career paths. They appear now (and always have been) very supportive of each other and very open, honest and loving towards each other. I think it bodes well for the future and that they feel secure and confortable enough in their relationship to deal with this type of publicity.

Bless their little cotton socks - I'm so happy for them that everything has turned out so well and they are so in love with each other.

We just need Dean playing 'Deluxe' at their reception and my life will be complete!

Thanks and check out ..........

Thanks chilled......... there was also a very similar story line on ITV Ceefax page 130 tonight (well at 00.20 actually).

It's all briliant and i'm still hoping for a BB2 wedding when BB3 is in progress so davina can wear her hat.........:spin2:

Feefs 27-03-2002 09:38 AM

Make sure Hello! knows how much we love them.

Now, he's got some stiff competition, and a few of us might have mixed loyalties, but Mr Clarke has been shortlisted for most attractive man of the week. Let's show our support. At the very least he has to beat Jamie Oliver and Charlie Sheen!

Same for Helen

Sadly, you are only allowed to vote once a day (from a single computer).

Thank God I was not at my usual newsagents, but in Waterloo Station, loitering in WH Smiths while waiting for my late train when I saw this. I let out a bit of a squeak that had a cashier laughing at me, but I didn't care. I was a woman on a mission.

The anticipation of reading it got too much. I had a lot to carry and was desperate to get on that train so I could read it in comfort. People probably thought I had an important meeting I was going to be late for, but little did they know! Even the ticket inspector did a double take when he saw what I was reading.

Those of you who want to read the bit on teletext, here's a link for that too.

Romantic Old Bird 27-03-2002 03:12 PM

If it wasn't March, I'd swear it was my birthday. Absolutely lovely, what can I say? I am not normally lost for words, but , like, WOW!

My sincere thanks to discolady, whose texting awoke me from the haze of shame I still felt this morning following my abysmal rendition of 'It's Raining Men' last night....(Paul managed to get a mention in that!)

I was barely able to restrain myself from skipping to the newsagents in my nightie, and purchased it as I started back across the Pennines on my journey homewards.

A word of warning to anyone else...don't try driving around double bends with a picture of Paul Clarke at your side. You just have to keep having a little peek, and it can be bloody hairy!

Happily, no harm done, and I'm back. Oh, yes, and Peachy and Discolady, just one thing. After seeing these pics I have to admit that when I said I was getting over Mr Clarke, I was obviously being about as honest to myself as he was when he told Amma and Bubble that Helen wasn't his cup of tea. The man is absolutely gorgeous, let's face it. Woweeee!:love::hello::love::colour::love::he llo::love::love:

Now why didn't I think of 'Springtime in Paris' for Paul and Helen?

peachy 27-03-2002 04:55 PM

Wowwweeee, indeed. I was so excited when I logged on to the board this afternoon, I couldn't believe it. I was round to the newsagent's like a bullet out of a gun. Then thumbing through frantically to find the right pages and wasn't it worth waiting for, what lovely pictures. So, today was great, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, Helen and Paul are in love and I'm happy!!!:spin2::spin2::spin2::spin2::spin2::spin2: :spin2::spin2::spin2:

Glad you got home safe and sound ROB! We await ROB's version of what really went on in Paris soon!

James 27-03-2002 10:16 PM

Is the offer to do a transcript still good? You could save me a lot of embarrasment in the newsagents. I really can't be seen buying Hello!

blinkinlovely 27-03-2002 10:18 PM

ROB

Wow R.O.B. - I ahd visions of you in a leafy suburb .................................:xyxwave: not crossing t'pennines. How the mind plays tricks:bouncy:

I promise to peek at my copy of hello in secret and whilst still, not driving, on a big diper or anything really............:flower:

susieq 27-03-2002 11:08 PM

Welcome back safe and sound ROB - nice to have you visiting God's own county!!

What can I say about 'Hello' - absolutely fab. Pictures are gorgeous (I agree the reading of Le Figaro is going a bit too far but the picture is lovely). The warmth they obviously have in their relationship comes through in every sentence. I especially liked the bit about it being their Mum's idea they get a place together when they had been secretly thinking that themselves for some time. It was like they were waiting for the OK from their parents - how sweet.

They have obviously settled into a normal, loving relationship, doing the normal things that couples do - it is so heartening to see them so close and obviously still besotted with each other. I think their romance will go from strength to strength and they will support each other through anything and everything. I wish them all the best for the future.
