I am old and I have had grey hair coming through since I was 22 thanks to my dad's genes.

I will not talk about airports like my old man is right now. That is BORING! I'm glad I'm not a man and don't have to worry about nose hair because that is horrendous. :yuk: I will never have a blue rinse but continue with my normal colours of browns/blondes etc with the occasional reds. I'll not wear nylon frocks with those weird lace up shoes but I will have a scooter - A silver one! :thumbs2::elephant:

I don't want to think about being old and grey. That is a horrible thought to me, as I feel that I have a long way to go yet, only being 22 years old. I can only assume that in the future pension age for men will be heightened to 70 and for women 65 so I shall have to work hard for 48 more years, oh well - [Lifes a bitch and then you die], so they say??? ha!

I believe the sinister Government plan is to make women and men have pensions at the same age.

By the time you reach todays pension age it will have been raised probably to that of 95.....

I can't wait to be old. Seriously.

They're always very friendly and don't care what people think of them!! I wanna be that!

Oh Lauren, please don't want to be old!! I am glad to be young and not be a pentioner. I don't want to look forward to the only two things which they have to look forward to - [Pain & Death] and [Soon] I wish to live a bit, yet!

Lauren 21-08-2007 08:47 PM

Old people don't have to have one foot in the grave!
The wild things.

I understand where you are coming from. Many older people just enjoy life and refuse to think about the - pain & death scenario - which we all face eventually. I know four women in their 70's who go to Bingo each week and they act about 17 years old and I mean that. They just fool around and laugh and laugh at stuff and anyone seeing them in action, just has to make a smile:bigsmile:

Lauren 21-08-2007 09:53 PM

60-odd year olds are still far away from death. They enjoy life without restrictions, I wanna be that old!

Scarlett. 21-08-2007 09:55 PM

I'll probably be going on about "Chavbots" lol

I can understand you being tempted by life without restrictions. If that is what you believe old age brings. In a way it does in another way you do get restricted due to the slowing down of the body. Not all elderly people retain physical fittness.....

Please don't wish old age on yourself it will come soon enough. Believe me.

The good news i think you have noticed unlike some is that age need only be physical it does not have to be mental unless you are unfortunate enough to come down with dimensia.....

If you look at my profile you wil see my age. However in the mind I still feel as though I am in my mid twenties and see no reason why that will ever change until illness takes it's toll at some point
