Carole blasts Jonty's farting

JONTY has become the latest housemate to upset Carole — by breaking wind all the time.

During the finishing school task Carole launched a broadside at his naughty habit.

And she asked him: “I do wonder what else might be seen as being rude in the company of women?”

Adopting an upper-crust tone, Jonty replied: “I should think gaseous emissions and discussions of a lewd, crude or uncouth nature, relating to former conquests which the ungentlemanly may have made in their travels abroad with young ladies.”

He explained “gaseous emissions” were releasing “gas from the mouth or other area in a noisy way”.

But Carole said: “So farting, belching and burping are not humorous?”

Jonty answered: “No they’re not sources of humour, they’re embarrassments and social disgraces.” Ironic considering how windy he is!

Earlier Brian wondered how Jonty gets away with parping at his museum job.

He said to Tracey: “If I did that at work I’d get a written warning.”
