Conspiracy Theory: 9/11

Many conspiracy theories have been presented concerning the September 11, 2001 attacks, many of them claiming that President George W. Bush and/or individuals in his administration knew about the attacks beforehand and purposefully allowed them to occur because the attacks would generate public support for militarization, expansion of the police state, and other intrusive foreign and domestic policies by which they would benefit.

My favourite conspiracy theory of 9/11 is that the devil done it :bigsmile:

I wouldn't put anything past George Bush.

He didn't really seem that upset when it happened.

I've heard loads of conspiracy theories.

Like if you fold a one dollar bill in a certain way it shows the twins towers on fire.

And how like all different numbers to do with the day add up to 911.

And also like if you type in the flight number on a font it shows a plane driving into the twin towers.

I think they are all made up though.

The one were you type it in a wingdings (I think) font actually works but its actual relevence is lost on me

I think the 9/11 tragedy was as it seems, a terrible act of terrorism on the grandest scale .

it does work type this in to word "Q33 NY" and convert it to wingdings

This theory is probably more a possibility than the others...

They planned for a similar mission 40 years before

At a designated time the duplicate would be substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be loaded with the selected passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone [a remotely controlled unmanned aircraft]. Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rendezvous south of Florida.

From the rendezvous point the passenger-carrying aircraft will descend to minimum altitude and go directly into an auxiliary field at Elgin AFB where arrangements will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the aircraft to its original status. The drone aircraft meanwhile will continue to fly the filed flight plan. When over Cuba the drone will be transmitting on the international distress frequency a "May Day" message stating he is under attack by Cuban MiG aircraft. The transmission will be interrupted by destruction of the aircraft, which will be triggered by radio signal. This will allow ICAO [International Civil Aviation Organization radio stations in the Western Hemisphere to tell the U.S. what has happened to the aircraft instead of the U.S. trying to "sell" the incident.

I bet you were told Q33 was the flight name, right?

Wrong! The flight numbers were 11 and 175, the Q33 bit was just made up to "fit in" with the conspiracy theory.

If airport security would have been stricter this wouldn't have even happened.

I really don't think Bush would know about it.
How would he ever sleep at night knowing that technically he'd allowed thousands of people to die.
I would have committed suicide by now if I knew about the attacks and didn't do anything to prevent them.

But you are not Bush, and he comforts hiself with the tens of billions made by the companies his father, and his friends, and his administration members all own parts of, who got granted no-bid contracts to make money out of Iraq, and the knowledge that a good wedge of that money, and share options are heading his way.

and theres more to be made with an attack on Iran - he doesn't cry over the deaths of getting on for 4000 US servicemen killed in Iraq in a war it is now known was started on a pack of lies ,and was desired by neocons before 9/11- so why the hell should he lose sleep over a few thousand civilians ?, and a few hundred thousand muslim civilians never even seem to enter into the equation

I believe that if the USA govt. did not know about the impending attacks it speaks volumes for their intel.

And, if they did know about them and allowed them to happen, it was for financial reasons.

Either way, it doesn't look good.

Ive seen other photos of the twins towers getting hit from the planes with those scary faces on. They really do give me the creeps alot. Does anyone really think that is satan's face???.
