Liam shocks HM\'s with Kara remark![news stort]
 

Liam has shocked the housemates by making an "insensitive" remark about Kara-Louise during this afternoon's podcast.

The group was in sombre mood as the microphone was passed between them at the sofas, with Carole still stewing over last night's decision to swap her piccalilli for a party.

Housemates were instructed to ask the person to their left a question about another member of the group from a sheet provided by Big Brother. But as Liam took his turn, he declared the questions to be "crap", instead opting to ask the twins: "Do you hate Kara-Louise?"

After a shocked silence, the twins responded that they definitely did not, with an embarrassed Amanda complaining: "Liam's mean to everyone." The tree surgeon quickly tried to defend himself, insisting: "I was being nice!...I've pointed out on the radio that everybody likes you, Kara, and you're a nice person."

Although he apologised for his actions before the podcast ended, Carole later took him to task for his "insensitivity", pointing out that Kara-Louise already felt rejected after being voted the worst housemate during yesterday's task.

"I thought they would say 'no, we love her' and we would all go 'yeah, we love her, woohoo!'" he protested, adding a defensive: "I didn't realise that I'd ruined everybody's lives."

"I think you [should've] just not asked the question at all," chided Ziggy, while Carole said: "It went down like a lead balloon, her face just went."

"It's just a bit of a smack in the face with a frying pan, that's all," piped up Brian. "I don't think you realise that 'cos you've got the subtlety of a brick through a window."

No doubt Liam will be excused for this remark by peopel, but I think its really horrible of him

Its hard to make out the impact of the comment or the tone of voice he used when he made the remark obv because we can only read it atm.But it does sound harsh and uncalled for,he will be excused by his fans of course but i wish people would see that he is a very vindictive individual who doesnt deserve the money hes won at all

Its been obvious for a while now that Liam is completely against Kara.

We all know liam hates kara but he tries and smooths it over saying i was joking funny joke hes a plank.

i agree liam's behaviour is unacceptable & disgraceful how did he win the 100 grand and WHO decided to give it to him he clearly doesn't deserve it i'm not only referring to this incident

Well he got away with it because Liam is part of the posse and kara is just a newbie but oh no if kara or jonty said something like that about dear brian or liam all hell would brake lose

haha oops ! god why did he go and say that! its probabl ruined his chances now ! but the way he said it i can see where hes coming from because i would get the impression kara thought everyone hated her and he was just trying to prove that noone doeas and then he tried to opolige nd i dunno what he said that made her more upset because he was opologising but he addmitted to ziggy and brian that it he is insensitive at times

Please you cant talk liam out of it what he did was wrong but its girls like you who cant see anything else.

he was saying that karas a nice person and trying to prove noone hated her ! i know he shouldnt of said that like but he did realise and tried to opologise and at first kara was like okay im not baming you but he didnt say anything nasty after that ! it wasnt meant in a nasty way

Liam in particular has had no time for any of the new HMs ,using Amy,ridiculing Jonty ,ignoring david and Shenessa and constantly aiming spite at Kara.

And still the public think he's great ....aaaaaghhhhh.

I know, it makes me physically sick that he is actually popular. :yuk:
