Twins to sing Barbie Girl song

MUSIC bosses are fighting over the twins recording a version of Barbie Girl – which has been voted the worst No1 ever.

Dippy Sam and Amanda, 19, have been offered a six-figure deal to record the tune by Danish group Aqua. And Brian may even RAP on it.

Last night a Channel Four insider said: “Record companies have been contacting us asking to pass on their numbers. They are fighting over Samanda.

“A couple of them have had the same idea of getting Brian on board as well, possibly to do a rap. It would be total car-crash - but it would do brilliantly with all their fans.”

This could be an idea, if they give some of the proceeds to charity, and pitch it as a Christmas record, along with Jingle bell Rock. However the history of BB housemates and the pop industry does not bode well

I would hope that if a music company signs them up, then they would take better care of them than channel 4, although given what happens in that industry I am not holding my breath

I think the song "Jingle bell rock" will do well.

Also talks about a toy company making barby dolls of the twins.... The twins also want to launch their own fashion range called "samanda"

Remains to be seen if all or any of the proposed ideas actually come to fruition. Nothing signed and sealed todate as far as I can see....Just talk about talks.......

I would love to see that! Especially with Brian singing the Ken bits lol! And if they do Jingle Bell Rock I have a feeling it would be Christmas number 1!

What about X Factor losers? They've done well over the Christmas period with one hit wonders or even two hit wonders?

If someone thinks they can make money out of the twins then they will. Lets just hope the twins have someone GOOD looking out for them.
