Fame Academy - Saturday\'s Songs (23rd August)
 

It's a Bee Gees special on Saturday, and these are the songs that the students will be performing:

Paris - You Should Be Dancing
Carolynne - Guilty
Alistair - To Love Somebody
Alex - Words
Peter - Massachusetts
Louise - Too Much Heaven
Barry - How Deep Is Your Love
James - More Than A Woman
Simone - Heartbreaker

Plus Paris, Alistair, Alex and Louse did a masterclass with Robin Gibb earlier today, and should be singing 'You Win Again', along with Robin.

Out of tonight's performances i really liked Carolynne, Alex, Peter :spin2: and Alistair!
I think we may lose Barry tonight he could have done that song a lot better

We lost Simone
She was out voted on the Student vote against Carolynee
Paris was saved by the teachers

OK, Simone was terrible tonight and deserved to be the one who left. But Barry was equally as bad, and he was in the top 6. Carolynne sang fantastically well - better than Louise - and was in the bottom three. It just doesn't make sense. And on top of all that, Peter DID murder Massachusetts . . . . . full stop! :mad:

My favourites at this point are Alex, Alistair and Carolynne. :dazzler:

I know that Peter did massacre his song but I just love watching him. For me he is a star performer and I look forward to watching his performance each show!

The only two I really like are Alex and Peter. For me, pretty boy James was the worst, closely followed by Barry.

I agree I can't understand the public's voting!

Thank god it wasn't just me who thought they were awful!!! Your right Kaz :thumbs: Barry and Peter were bad last night!!! In my opinion Barry deserved to go more than Simone but she was due to go at some point!!

Kaz and Amy I agree with your views entirely. I thought Barry was awful and as for Peter's rendition of Massachusetts was diabolical. He is a good stage performer but not in the same class as regards singing as Alex, Carolynne and Alistair.

Would love to know who the teachers would pick if the last three happened to be Paris, Louise and Peter. Now that would be something.

Now that would be a show to watch lets hope that happens this saturday! :colour:

I'm sorry to say that I'm not into Fame Academy that much, even though I think there's more talent on show than last year.
The lack of a highlights show on BBC1 means that I don't get to know the personalities of the students, and I don't watch BBC3.

I think from watching the showdowns Alex, Peter and Paris have the look of popstars, and the individuality to stand out from the rest. Who the most musically talented is though, I couldn't say.
