He's been outed as fake.
Ciaran set up a test by mentioning in passing that Bodmin Gaol was haunted by a South African jailer called Kreed Kafer.

Derek fell right into the trap and sure enough mentioned that name
Kreed Kafer is an anagram of Derek Faker.


The same test was done again on a ghost called "Rik Eedles" i.e. Derek Lies.

most of his stuff probably was fake but i half to say Most Haunted Hasnt Been Most Haunted since he left

Love the show though as the power of fear and thought puts the team into such a state. I have sometimes been convinced by them and at other times been left in hysterics.

I met him before signing books.. LOL I have a few pics but i lost them.. ah well :D

He is when you meet him.

But then if he's a fake psychic he's mastered the art of acting.

I used to watch Most Haunted quite religiously when it first started.
But it started to get more and more fake after the show started to get more popular, as if they were making a mountain out of a mole hill with things and it just wasn't genuine anymore.
Plus Jason left with no reason at all which I found a bit suspicious.
Used to think Derek had something about him, but definitely don't know.

I know why Jason left.

I have seen him live, and he is very good at what he does,which is faking people.

Thats when I stopped watching MH, he just goes too far.

But David Wells, the other medium, is fantastic!!!!
